Spurs are worn in pairs on the heels of riding boots. They are used to reinforce verbal riding commands and to back up natural aids (legs, seat, hands). This Norman style spur has U-shaped heel band with a long shank and a pointed tip and has leather straps for fastening it around the boots. It is completely wearable and can be used for costume dressing.
