This helm is a replica of one found in the gladiator barracks of Pompeii. It is hand-crafted in 18-guage bronze featuring a likeness of medusa on the forehead. the faceplate and neckguard are modifiable to size. The grill faceplate is secured with top rings and swivel pins and can be removed, leaving the throat guard in place. Additionally screws to remove the throatplate have been disguised as brass studs on the sides of the helmet.
