Militia Templi Dagger (Order of Aviz, Templar Dagger)
A Templar dagger is typically a double-edged blade that is used for stabbing or thrusting during close combat in battle. It is the Knight’s last line of defense from an attacker making it an essential item. Other uses of the Crusader dagger were for cutting, carving, and eating.
Deepeeka’s replica is based on the Order of Aviz, which was established in 1128 after receiving a grant from Theresa, Countess of Portugal. The dagger comes complete with a scabbard, has a full tang, and is heat treated to a Rockwell of 48-52.
