History Alive is a combination of activities of the Roman, Viking, Medieval, Napoleonic, Colonial, Victorian and Modern Eras that appeal to all ages!

 
Visitors to History Alive: A Journey Through Time can participate in Colonial Dance workshops and Historical Discussions.
 
Witness spectacular battle re-enactments of Crusader Knights, Napoleonic Cavalry, WWI, WWII & Vietnam including Tanks!
 
Enjoy Viking Cooking demonstrations and the pageantry of the Medieval Tournament.
 
Children haven’t been forgotten with daily Costume Competitions, Kid’s Historical Colouring Corner & a wide variety of children’s encampment activities.
 
These are but a few of the many opportunities visitors have to connect with history each year at History Alive: A Journey Through Time.
 
History Alive: A Journey Through Time is held at Rocklea Showgrounds, corner of Ipswich Road & Goburra Street, Rocklea 
where more than 600 re-enactors and historians portray and display almost 10,000 years of history.
 
Come and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and aromas of times gone past at Brisbane’s most unique living history Event, History Alive!
